The Department of EEE is established in the year 2008, offering a Full time Four Year B.Tech Degree Course. It is provided with good Infrastructural facilities like well equipped Laboratories, Library, well qualified and dedicated faculty and technically sound supporting staff. It is continuously striving to impart quality education and competitive spirit among students for academic excellent.
With the ambitious objective of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower that can face various challenges posed by power situations, drives, controls and instrumentation, the Department is constantly on the look out to modernize its laboratories and infrastructure to accommodate the latest trends of world-class research work. The Department gives maximum priority to updated technical information, through office automation with a true internet and intranet environment.
Electrical engineering mainly deals with the generation and distribution of power and maintenance of large power systems. It has been known in the past to encompass electronic engineering, which has obtained an identity of its own only in the recent years. In most cases, both of these disciplines are offered through a combined course of study.
Provide a basic knowledge of electrical and electronics engineering principles along with the required supporting knowledge of mathematics, science, computing, and engineering fundamentals.
Develop the basic skills needed to perform and design experimental projects.
Develop the ability to formulate problems and projects and to plan a process for solution taking advantage of diverse technical knowledge and skills.
Develop the ability to organize and present information and to write and speak effective English.
Provide sufficient breadth and depth for successful subsequent graduate study, post-graduate study, or lifelong learning programs.
In keeping with the Mission of the college as a whole, the EEE Department at CRVITS believes that each student is a unique individual and is in a process of continuous growth. In order to foster growth and empowerment, we commit ourselves to the following:
Continuous pursuit of quality and excellence
Providing appropriate know-how and up-to-date knowledge
Developing excellent engineering, communication and humanistic skills
Promoting good, universal ethical values
The EEE students placed in various core companies like APGENCO, APTRANSCO, SINGARENI, RAILWAYS, NTPC and software organization in and around the country reflect the aspiration of this department.
A Hearty welcome from the EEE department, Paladugu Parvathi Devi college of Engineering & Technology, Surampalli, Vijayawada. It gives me immense pride and pleasure to lead the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of this esteemed prestigious and one of the oldest institution of this country.
We at EEE department continue to transform the way we live - from the latest gazettes through sophisticated scientific and industrial technologies. Further, we believe in contributing to long-term economic prosperity through a commitment to education, research and service.
HOD - M.Tech
The global climate change and depleting natural resources are demanding invention of new technologies which are energy conscious. The confidence in managing new knowledge society requires continuous learning through novel approaches supported with research and development works in the areas of power and energy. Thus the department vision and mission reflects this and my department joins me in meeting this mission by producing knowledgeable and committed technologists to serve our country and humanity as a whole. The hard work and sincerity are strong pillars of success. Through our practices we strive to impress our students to inculcate these values and support the mission of PPDV. I welcome wholeheartedly our alumni to join hands in supporting our endeavors by all means of interaction. Our doors are always open to Research organizations, industries and utility companies to collaborate with us in building valuable knowledge society foreseeing bright future.
I profusely thank our Management, Researchers, Teachers, Alumnus and Students for all their efforts. We continue to play a leading role in our discipline and are committed towards creating an innovative and effective professional graduate community ensuring continuous learning.
Sky is not the Limit. It is time to explore the unexplored.
